Porsche 944 S2 Part 2

When I bought this car, it had a really good base, a good history, and a good seller. It had always been in winter storage and well enjoyed. However, the car did need some love. We started with the moving parts, servicing the car with new timing, water pumps, battery, both new rear axles, and a brand new exhaust. All the work was trouble free and all the parts we fitted were Porsche genuine bits, i bought on ebay and 911.

Once we were satisfied with the car's performance and sound, we turned our attention to the other necessary improvements. It was evident that a fresh interior was imperative, so we proceeded to remove the seats and sought the expertise of my esteemed upholsterer, Pepe. Renowned for his prowess in the craft, Pepe worked his magic on the entire interior, using authentic German 944 leather to restore it to its original glory. This was not cheap costing £1900 but well worth it, its brand new. We also needed to replace the worn-out "arm rest" with a new one to complete the interior restoration. It was a crucial detail to ensure the overall look and comfort of the classic car but hard to find as evefryone want big money for these small parts ! I got this one for $90 in LA and waiting about 5 months to get it, i think it was 4 weeks to be honest. Sounding good and smelling good. Whats next ?
