JAGUAR XK8
The Jaguar XK8 was a luxury sports car produced from 1996 to 2014, replacing the XJS and setting new standards for the market. The XK8 was available as a two-door coupe or convertible, both with 2+2 seating. The car was designed by Geoff Lawson, Jaguar's design director at the time, and development began in 1992. The XK8 was unveiled in March 1996 and went on sale in October of that year.
The XK8 featured a new all-alloy V8 engine with 32 valves, quad cams, and two-stage variable valve timing. It also had a warm-up system and Nikasil bore liners instead of steel liners to reduce weight. The car's sleek bodywork had styling cues from the E-type, and it came with automatic transmission. The XK8 had a power output of around 290 horsepower, but the chassis could handle more.
